Only two were made in this method as Artist's Proof, hand painted with golden French paints and highlights to evoke the light of sunset, painted on Aluminium.
The story of the painting is about a cat dreaming of a sunset by the river, caught in between the sun and the moon, bathing in the warmth of rich colours of yellow and blue.

Shizico's latest series explores the simple pleasure of drawing and the simplicity of forms. The key concept of the series is to document moments of contentment, finding pockets of silent joy in day-to-day living with the simple act of drawing in purer forms. The drawing style of this series goes back to the most basic, it's Shizico's attempt to find new visual language in her artmaking after years of dark period in her personal life.
